Expert Help For Job Seekers
East Stroudsburg, PA (USA)—3 March, 2009. EditsMadeEasy, an American-based online editorial company, has recently launched new services aimed at job seekers—so far, with great success. The professional team at EME includes certified Career Services specialists who are well-positioned to assist those entering the job market.
With the U.S. losing roughly half-a-million jobs per month, more people than ever find themselves looking for new employment. For many of those people, it has been years since they’ve had to create a resumé or prepare for a job interview; and with so much competition, making the best possible impression matters.
Whether a client already has a resumé and application materials prepared or not, the staff at EME can help. In addition to standard editing services for documents that are already prepared, EME offers three programs that are quickly becoming popular—all of which involve direct contact with a certified Career Services specialist. With the Resumé Package, clients are interviewed for background information on themselves, their career aspirations, and the companies to which they are applying. Then a specialist creates a brand-new resumé and cover letter tailor-made for the client. With Interview Coaching, an initial consultation is used to gather background information, and then a Career Services specialist conducts two half-hour sessions with the client via phone or VoIP. During those sessions, the client is given sample interview questions in his/her field, has the chance to role-play interview scenarios, receives an objective evaluation of his/her performance, and is given tips to improve interview skills. Lastly, the Job Seeker Package combines the features of the other two packages, for a service that involves three live conversations, the creation of a tailor-made resumé and cover letter, and development of crucial interview skills. With everything they need to look good both on paper and in person, EME clients dramatically improve their chances of success.
Though outside the bounds of what most editorial services offer, these career packages fit well into the profile of EditsMadeEasy. EME stands out in the industry not only because of the comprehensiveness of its service, but also because of the fact that it does not make use of general editors who work across disciplines. Instead, EME employs highly-skilled professionals in a wide range of writing fields to work only in the areas they know best. That includes Career Services experts who are working hard to prepare EME clients who are re-entering the job market.
