EME Writing Classes are taught entirely online and are designed to fit into your schedule, with new material posted once a week and 7 days to complete each assignment. All EME writing courses last for six weeks, and you’ll be surprised at how much your writing will change in that short period. Since enrollment in each class is limited to 12 students, you’re guaranteed to get the attention you need.

ACADEMIC WRITING. Designed for writers of theses and dissertations, the courses in our Academic Writing program cover a variety of topics that will make your research and writing more effective. FICTION WRITING. Taught by experienced novelists, the courses in the EME Fiction Writing program will teach you to develop a captivating plot, create believable characters, write effective dialogue and narrative, choose and maintain a point of view, find your own voice … and more.

NONFICTION WRITING. The courses in our Nonfiction Writing program are designed and taught by professionals with years of experience writing and coaching other nonfiction writers. Courses are available to help you with memoirs, how-to books, travel writing, food writing, news writing … and more.

BUSINESS WRITING. Led by professionals who combine writing expertise with hands-on business experience, the courses in our Business Writing program explore grant proposals, business plans, letter and e-mail writing, resumés and CVs, brochures and advertising … and more.

ESL WRITING. EME boasts some of the most highly qualified ESL experts available on the Web. Under their guidance, the courses in our ESL Writing program are divided between academic writing and business writing.
