Interview Coaching. Who doesn’t find job interviews intimidating?! Wouldn’t it be nice to walk into your next interview with the confidence that comes from having been coached by a certified Career Services specialist? With this package, you’ll be contacted by a specialist for a background-gathering consultation, and then two appointments will be scheduled for interview coaching sessions (via phone or VoIP). Each session will last about half-an-hour and will give you the opportunity to hear potential interview questions, get valuable feedback on your performance, and gain important tips on improving your interview skills.

Job Seeker Package. Our premium career service, this package has everything you need to look good both on paper and in person! The package begins with an information-gathering consultation to determine your background and career aspirations and to get some information about the specific job(s) you are seeking. Next, a certified Career Services specialist will create a new resumé or CV for you, along with a tailor-made cover letter. Then our specialist will meet with you for two sessions (via phone or VoIP) to prepare you for your job interview. Each session will last about half-an-hour and will give you the opportunity to hear potential interview questions, get valuable feedback on your performance, and gain important tips on improving your interview skills. Editing and Proofreading Services. If you’ve already created your own resumé and cover letter, you might want to have them honed to their full potential. Or perhaps you have your completed application materials and want to have them reviewed by a professional. Here too, EME doesn’t rely on general editors, but makes use of certified Career Services specialists. At whatever level of editing you choose (i.e., proofreading, copyediting, developmental editing, or ESL editing), your documents will be polished to make the best impression.

Our comprehensive coaching package gives you up to twelve hours of live coaching (via phone or VoIP), carried out over a period of up to six months. And during that period, you’ll also have unlimited e-mail contact with your coach. A certified Career Services specialist will conduct career inventories; help you to refine your career path; review your resumé (or CV), cover letter(s), applications, essays, and supporting documents; guide you in conducting research on the companies to which you are applying; and coach you in preparing for interviews. Career Writing Classes. Like any other type of writing, the documents you prepare to advance your career require their own specific set of skills-but the stakes are higher! 
The good news is that these skills can be taught and learned. For one low flat fee, you can spend six weeks learning from a Career Services specialist through lectures, class discussions, assignments, and the opportunity to present your material for feedback from your classmates. Learn techniques for job hunting, networking, letter writing, resumé and CV writing, interviewing, and follow-up. Each class is limited to twelve students, so you’ll be sure to get the attention you need. And best of all, you can do all of this at your convenience and from your own home or office. After just six weeks, you’ll have a whole new set of skills to help you in pursuing the job you want.
Working as an assistant to the Director of Career Services at Binghamton University, Zach has spent the past several years critiquing hundreds of resumes and cover letters for undergraduate and graduate students, with a particular concentration on Finance, Leadership & Consulting, Accounting, Marketing, and Management Information Systems. He has targeted cover letters and personal essays at specific placements, ranging from Creative & Marketing Internships with RockStar Games to Investment Banking positions with Goldman Sachs.
