TEAM

ALBERT—President & CEO, Academic Editor & Coach
On one side of the desk or the other, most of Albert’s life has been spent in the classroom. After studying politics and law in the U.S., Albert went on for graduate degrees in philosophy, religious studies, and theology in Europe, culminating in a Ph.D. from Louvain. There, his academic work required research in English, German, French, Dutch, Latin, and Greek. Nearly two decades as a university professor and years as an academic dean gave Albert a passion for helping students discover the thrill of learning, and his favorite part of that process was directing graduate students in their thesis writing. He went on to become a full-time editor, and then headed up the North American sector for an online editorial service, personally responding to client needs and supervising the work of a team of professional editors from around the globe. Believing that clients deserve greater freedom of choice than most editorial services offer, and with a commitment to recruiting the finest professionals available in a wide array of fields, Albert founded EditsMadeEasy as a comprehensive editorial, coaching, and instructional service. Much as in his teaching career, Albert’s favorite part of life at EME is coaching master’s and doctoral students as they write their theses and dissertations. He loves the feeling that comes from helping students to discover their own ability to raise important questions and explore possible answers. While his own published works have been mainly academic, Albert has experience in business, and is currently engaged in writing his first novel.
